Who can join the BIWC?
The BIWC is open to all women currently living in Berlin. So as to keep the Club’s international character, no one nationality is permitted to exceed 20 % of the total membership. When this happens, a waiting list is set up for that particular nationality.
Where can I learn more about BIWC?
You are most welcome to come along and join us at our monthly Meet & Greet meetings on the 8th and the 15th of each month. Current members are there to answer your questions and give you advice.
Why join the BIWC?
We invite you to Come and Share Our World in Berlin. We have many Special Interest and Neighbourhood Groups which organise a variety of social gatherings for the members of our Club: sharing information, bonding friendships, creating networking opportunities and offering a wide range of activities which make living in Berlin fun.
Over the years, the Club has supported a number of local charity projects, such as the Frauenhaus (a Women’s Shelter), the Björn Schulz Stiftung (a children’s hospice), and Straßenkinder e. V. Berlin (for homeless children). Members have volunteered their time and their skills and have given something back to the local community. More recently and further afield, Club members have supported the Dress a Girl project in South Africa.
