Berlin International Women’s Club e.V.

Dear Members,

     We are busy planning our AGM (Annual General Meeting) for 22 March (see separate announcement).  This involves finding an appropriate venue each year, and lots of planning by the Social Events team, the Newsletter team, the entire EC and others.  The Club business aspect of this event is required by German law.  The AGM is open to all BIWC members who have paid their dues for the current year.  It is free of charge to members, but the cost to the Club is 35 Euros per person this year.  A "no show" (someone who signs up, but does not attend) is a waste of Club funds.  We are required to pay for everyone who has signed up, so please contact the Social Events team if you find that you have to cancel for any reason.
At the meeting we will be thanking the EC members who are stepping down, voting in the new ones, thanking the volunteers, and applauding the Excellence in Service winners and more.  After conducting our necessary Club business, we adjourn to the social part of the evening, where there will be food, drinks, and entertainment.  For many BIWC members the AGM is the highlight of the year and has the largest attendance of any event.  We enjoy catching up with old friends and welcoming new ones.  Please sign up as soon as possible with SocialEvents@biwc.de.  This is your Club, we do this for you.  Please join us on 22 March for a great party.
