EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE AWARDS

You may be surprised to know that about 100 members volunteer in one way or another to keep the Club running.  Some help with small, but important, one-time tasks and others in more long-term roles.  The BIWC only functions because we have so many capable and willing volunteers. 

Your contributions of time and enthusiasm are certainly appreciated by the EC and by the membership in general.

Among those volunteers are a few special members who give to the Club over long periods of time. One way to acknowledge this contribution publicly is BIWC’s Excellence in Service Award.

 

The Excellence in Service Award recognizes BIWC members who are currently active in the Club and who have consistently made outstanding contributions to the Club and displayed unselfish service to other BIWC members over a period of at least the prior two years.  Generally, such contributions have been ‘behind the scenes’ and have gone unrecognized.
This honor is traditionally awarded at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
