Farewell lunch at Humaira’s
Sadly for us, Humaira Akhtar, who has been a very active and engaged member of the BIWC for the past few years, will be leaving Berlin for a new life in Canada this summer. Humaira has kindly agreed to host a potluck lunch at her home. She will talk to us about her painting and ceramics and how she came to take up this hobby, an event originally planned for earlier this year. This will also be a farewell party for Humaira. Please let the coordinators know what you will be bringing along for the potluck lunch when you sign up.

South-West Neighbourhood Group is happy to announce that BIWC member, Penny Fischer, has once again offered to host a tea party in her garden with tea and coffee and delicious home-made cakes. The tea party will be in aid of charity and all proceeds this year will go to the Frauenhaus. Space is limited so please book early.
