Individual & Couples Counselling

 

Qualified British Counsellor, David Barnes has been living and working in Germany for over ten years.  He has a private practice close to Nollendorf Platz where he works with gay, lesbian and heterosexual couples.  He works in both English & German.  The emphasis in Couples Counselling is on improving communication and reaching compromises which both can live happily with. Sometimes Couples Counselling can also provide a safer platform to look at the implications of separation and divorce for the couple and for any children involved.  David also offers Family Therapy, working with parents and their children.
 
David also has considerable experience working with issues related to stress, isolation, feeling low as well as difficulty in decision making. He has worked with men and women dealing with issues arising as a result of sexual abuse. And he provides counselling to people who are generally feeling stuck in life and are unsure of the next steps.
 
David offers a safe and confidential environment in which to gain new perspectives for making the changes you want to make.
