The Rotes Rathaus is in the Alexander Platz area and is the office of the major of Berlin.  There are many Rathaus in Berlin – one in each major neighborhood.  We enjoy the inexpensive meals served in the Rathaus restaurants – often called Ratskeller, because they are downstairs or in the basement
