FEAR NOT THE KNIFE was the first BIWC COOKING! demo held (in 2008) and is the most
requested! Mastering your knife is one of the most useful skills to have in a kitchen. Do you want to learn how to use a knife like the pros do? The chef's knife is one of the most important and versatile tools in the kitchen: learn the fundamentals of using a knife safely. As you work with your knife, you will learn control and how to slice, dice and chop. We will look at various kitchen knives, their uses and also discuss garnishing techniques. After class we will sample different soups made with various cuts of veggies. With recipes in hand, you will be able to take your lesson home and get cooking.
