Inside Big Pharma: From Molecules to Medicine
The name Schering has been associated with pharmaceuticals in Berlin since 1851.  In December 2006 the company was taken over by Bayer and merged with its pharma sector to become Bayer Schering Pharma, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.  Following an introduction to the company by Valeria Hilgers, we shall watch a short film and listen to a presentation by Dr. Kerstin Crusius about innovation and research and development in a global pharmaceutical organization.
Venue: Bayer Schering Pharma, Müllerstr. 178, 13353 Berlin -Wedding
Getting there: U6 to Reinickendorfer Str. or S-Bahn Ring to Wedding and then a short walk south on Müllerstr.
Meeting point: In the foyer of the main building, first floor.
Registration: Names of all visitors must be sent to SciTech@biwc.de not later than Sunday, 14 March.
