Many active BIWC members joined in the Avon Frauenlauf on May 20. Monika, our former Membership Secretary, is very enthusiastic about this annual event:
The Avon Run is always fun! Once again a group of our members gathered to take part. We looked so smart in the t-shirts provided, just like all the other 17 000 participants, a pink cloud. The weather was perfect and we did the 5km walk. A nice parcours through the Tiergarten cheered on by bystanders and drummer bands. A wonderful experience and all for a good cause! Already looking forward to next year.
