Once again, many of our activities are online but some groups will meet up outdoors. The North-East Neighbourhood Group will do a walking tour of old Berlin. The South-West Neighbourhood Group will walk through the Glienicker Park and the Tiergarten Walking Group continues to meet up every Thursday.

  • Evening and Morning Meet & Greets as Zoom events.
  • Our Social Events Team and our Membership Secretary have organised a Virtual Game – Pharaoh’s Treasure Hunt.
  • In their final session before the summer break, LovinGerman will discuss a poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
  • The Australian Soprano Diipti Firmstone introduces us to the principles of singing during the online session of the Compass Group.
  • Prisoners of Geography, a book by Tim Marshall, will be the topic of discussion in the Science Group.

  • The Biographies Group will talk about the book Chopin Through the Window by former BIWC member Franziska Stein.
  • The Afternoon Book Group will read and discuss The Lying Life of Adults by Elena Ferrante.
  • Several Mahjong groups continue to play together online.
  • German Speakers converse online twice a month and English Speakers keep in touch via email.
